With the global wave of net-zero sustainability, the era of carbon pricing has arrived. For Taiwan’s export-oriented metalworking industry, establishing a carbon inventory strategy is essential to gaining a competitive edge in the global market.
To support the industry in addressing major ESG challenges, Syntec Group will host the “ESG Carbon Reduction Solutions and Digital Intelligent Transformation Seminar for the Metalworking Industry” on November 9 (09:30~17:00) at the MOEA Traditional Industry Innovation & Value-added Center in Nanzih, Kaohsiung.
In response to the trends of digital transformation and ESG sustainability, Syntec Group, positioning itself as an "equipment management expert in the metalworking industry," is collaborating with the Metal Industries Research & Development Centre and Saturn Sustainability Co., Ltd. to co-host the intelligent transformation seminar. By implementing robotic automation and IIoT for data digitization, the initiative aims to uncover production inefficiencies and achieve cost reduction, efficiency improvement, and carbon reduction. Syntec Group hopes to jointly build customized sustainable smart factories with the industry by consolidating diverse topics and comprehensive solutions.
The seminar will begin with Saturn Sustainability Co., Ltd. sharing strategies and suggestions for corporate carbon neutrality under the 2050 net-zero emissions goal. The first step for companies toward net-zero is gaining transparent factory data. Syntec Technology and Lian Da Intelligent will present how to implement digital transformation through IIoT energy consumption and carbon emission analysis, and the application of Robot Cells in the metalworking industry. Additionally, the Metal Industries Research & Development Centre will share the application of smart manufacturing from an industry perspective. Chengbo Laser will also delve into smart carbon-reducing laser processing applications, revealing the high-efficiency, precise, and eco-friendly laser processing methods.
